Ronaldy Benjamin of Centereach identified as pedestrian killed in Selden

Police on Wednesday identified a Centereach man as the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a car July 5 in Selden.
Ronaldy Benjamin, 28, was the man struck shortly after 9 p.m. by a 2013 Kia Soul heading west on Route 25 at College Road, Suffolk County police said.
Benjamin was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the Kia, Mary McCabe, 51, of Coram, was not injured, police said.
Criminality was not suspected, police said.
