Alex Rodriguez and his former attorney, David Cornwell, have settled their long-running dispute about $380,000 in unpaid legal fees, according to a court document filed last week.
Cornwell, part of the Yankees designated hitter's team of lawyers in his 2013 fight against Major League Baseball for a performance-enhancing drug suspension, first filed suit against Rodriguez in July 2014 seeking payment.
The note of settlement, signed by attorneys from both parties and filed in New York Supreme Court on Nov. 9, made no mention of the terms of the agreement.
Stephen Grafman, one of Rodriguez's attorneys, declined to comment when reached by phone Monday morning. Cornwell and an attorney from his firm who was litigating the case did not immediately return messages seeking comment.--
