Giambi signs minor league deal with Rockies
At 40, former Yankee Jason Giambi is hoping or at least one more season in the big leagues.
Giambi has agreed to a minor league contract with Colorado. He will earn $1 million if he makes the team.
A pinch-hitter and backup to Todd Helton since late in the 2009 season, Giambi hit .244 with six homers and 35 RBIs in 176 at-bats last season.
