He simply wasn't a fan of the soup.

Yogi Berra, taken by ambulance to the hospital before Thursday's game in Clearwater after falling in the clubhouse and released later that afternoon, was back at Steinbrenner Field Friday.

"He's sitting in the same chair he sits in every morning," Joe Girardi said before leaving for a split-squad game against the Blue Jays. "I saw him [Thursday] night. He was great. Today he's great. He's the same."

Familiar wit intact.

Passing a group of reporters Friday, Berra, who fell while getting a bowl of soup, was asked how his experience in Clearwater went.

"It was all right," he said, according to The Associated Press. "Didn't like the soup."
