Kelsey Huff's overtime goal wins it for Eastport-South Manor in Div. II girls lacrosse

Kelsey Huff scored the winning goal on a free position shot with seven seconds remaining in the first overtime to lead Eastport-South Manor over Sayville, 7-6, in Division II girls lacrosse. Kristin Anderson (three goals) scored with 9:29 remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime.

Samantha Giacolone made 14 saves, including eight in the second half and overtime, as Eastport (9-0) held Sayville scoreless. Bayport-Blue Point 15, Huntington 14: Cassie Stucklen scored the winning goal with eight seconds remaining in the first overtime to lead Bayport-Blue Point (5-2) in Division II. Samantha Lynch (five goals, one assist) tied the game with 3:08 remaining in regulation for Huntington. Kerrigan Miller led the Phantoms with five goals and three assists. Carle Place 12, Carey 11: Maggie Gerraputa scored the winner off an assist from Maria Hyland (three goals, three assists) with 54 seconds remaining to lead Carle Place (4-4) in a non-league game. West Islip 8, Northport 7: Michael Moynihan scored the winning goal unassisted with 11 seconds remaining to lead West Islip (5-3) in League I. Trevor Bovich scored with 3:43 remaining off a pass from Conor Smith to tie it at 7. Smith had two goals and one assist.Smithtown West 8, Ward Melville 2: Ryan Keenan scored three goals for Smithtown West in its Division I win. Matt Heldberg and Christian Zawadzki each added two goals. Dan Varello was 10-for-14 on faceoffs for Smithtown West (8-0). Sachem North 12, Smithtown East 8: Jimmy Hoffman and Joe Caridi each had three goals for Sachem North (6-2) in its Division I win. Brian Willetts led Smithtown East with three goals. Jacob Giacalone made 15 saves for Sachem North.

Connetquot 9, Bay Shore 8: Chris Seeback scored the game-winner with 2:15 remaining in regulation to lead Connetquot (4-4) in Division I. Tyler Nason had four goals and Dylan Finazzo went 12-for-20 on faceoffs for Connetquot.
