Nolan Lessick scored twice as Deer Park clinched the Suffolk League IV boys soccer championship Wednesday with a 3-1 win over Half Hollow Hills West.

Lessick's second goal, in the 23rd minute, gave Deer Park a 2-0 lead. The win gave Deer Park (15-0-1, 14-0) its first league title since 1997 and also halted Hills West's streak of league championships at six. Marley McLain scored in the win and Ricky Occhino had nine saves. Our Lady of Mercy 4, Molloy 3: Samantha Lynch scored with 2:00 left in the second overtime to win it for No. 3 Our Lady of Mercy in a CHSAA A semifinal. Ashley Maldonado had three goals, including one that tied the score at 3 for OLMA with 1:30 left in regulation. Our Lady of Mercy plays Holy Trinity in the final Friday at 3 p.m.

Mt. Sinai 2, Glenn 1: Gabrielle Corrente scored on a penalty kick 4:33 into the second overtime to win it for Mt. Sinai (1-11) in Suffolk League VI. Mackenzie Kay scored and Alicia Pirone made 11 saves in the win. GIRLS TENNIS

Smithtown East 4, Harborfields 3:Gabby Colon and Miranda Lin defeated Kristen Kelly and Kristen Johnson, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5), in the deciding match at second doubles to lead No. 6 Smithtown East in a Suffolk second-round playoff matchup. Smithtown East plays at No. 3 Floyd in a quarterfinal Friday at 3 p.m.BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Levittown District 3, Farmingdale 1: Anthony Costales had eight kills and three digs, Chris Pappas had 12 kills, and Cristian Mendoza had 22 assists for Levittown District (8-5) in a 25-13, 25-16, 17-25, 25-22 win in Conference II.GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

East Rockaway 3, North Shore 2: Gina Skelly had 15 kills, 10 digs and three aces and Kim McCann had 17 assists and five kills as East Rockaway (3-11) rallied for a 23-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-19 win in Conference BC-I.
