O'Leary's three wins it in OT for Kings Park

Shane O'Leary hit a three-pointer off a feed from Nick Borkowski as time expired in overtime to lift Kings Park to a 62-59 win over Sayville in a League V boys basketball game Thursday. Kings Park (6-3) clinched a playoff berth with the win.
Sayville's Tanner Sterback hit two free throws with eight seconds left in OT to tie the score at 59. James Rupp's jumper had tied the score at 52 with nine seconds left in regulation for Sayville. Borkowski had 18 points and three assists and Kevin Gurlides had nine points and 13 rebounds. Chris Lowe scored 19 points for Sayville.
Harborfields 74, Islip 69: Justin Ringen hit a corner three-pointer and Lucas Woodhouse followed with a layup to give Harborfields (8-0) a five-point lead with just over three minutes remaining in League V. After Islip cut the deficit to one, Joe Savaglio hit a pair of free throws with 28 seconds left. Ringen finished with 23 points, including four three-pointers, Woodhouse had 13 points and 13 assists, Savaglio had 19 points and Nick Fessenden added 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Ward Melville 66, Lindenhurst 62: Gorkem Osman had 18 points and John Edmonds added 10 for Ward Melville (4-6) in League I. Brandon Hauser had 18 points for Lindenhurst.
Riverhead 61, Centereach 52: Alex Sakho recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds and Ryan Bitzer and Ben Edmund each scored 13 points to lead Riverhead (5-6) in League III. Mike Wiedemann scored a game-high 20 points for Centereach in the loss.
Mt. Sinai 49, Glenn 40: Matt Pellarin hit three-pointers on consecutive possessions with under two minutes left in the game to extend Mt. Sinai's lead to eight in League VI. Mike Guzzardi added 16 points and 14 rebounds for Mt. Sinai (3-5).
Lawrence 63, Sewanhaka 55: Samson Bialostok hit a three and Dwayne Daniel converted a three-point play during a key stretch in the fourth quarter to propel Lawrence (7-2) in Conference A-II. Ibraheem Shamseldin had a team-high 17 points and Eddie Robinson added 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Shella Adeniran had 26 points to lead Sewanhaka.
West Hempstead 69, North Shore 56: Tyree Glascoe had 13 of his 25 points in a 24-8 fourth quarter and Thomas Valerio added 16 points to lead West Hempstead (5-4) in Conference A-III. North Shore's Justin Bell finished with 35 points and 11 rebounds.
BOYS SWIMMING
Hauppauge 103, Harborfields 77: Pouria Hamidi won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 24.88 seconds and Michael Saltzman won the 100 freestyle in 54.28 to lead Hauppauge (6-1) in League II.
Sachem East 62, North Babylon 40, Deer Park 27: Anthony Stefanelli won the dive (288.66) and Tim Wilson won the 100-yard backstroke (56.92) and 200 IM (2:07.51) for Sachem East (4-5) in League I.
Sayville 93, Connetquot 82: Andrew Cremer won the 200-meter freestyle (2:03.58) and 400 freestyle (4:20.57) as Sayville (7-0) clinched its second straight regular-season League II title. For Connetquot, Charles Malkin won the 200-meter IM (2:23.63) and 100-meter butterfly (1:02.28).
GIRLS GYMNASTICS
Bethpage 164.1, Oceanside 157.95: Sarah Ciresi won the all-around with a 34.2 to lead Bethpage (8-2) in Conference I. Serena Pergola won the floor (9.15) and took second in the all-around (34.05). Oceanside's Cheyanne Blumberg won the vault with a 9.0 and uneven bars (8.65).
BOYS FENCING
Centereach 17, Huntington 10: Andrew Holmes and Casey Chiofol each went 3-0 in foil for Centereach (8-4).
GIRLS FENCING
Half Hollow Hills 15, Commack 12: Kelsey Young and Shannon Beller each went 3-0 in foil to lift Half Hollow Hills (12-1).
