Long Island’s wild card entries for state wrestling tournament

Long Island high schools will send 29 athletes to the New York State wrestling tournament as at-large, or wild-card, entries.
That’s in addition to the 60 wrestlers who already qualified by winning a Nassau or Suffolk county title in either Division I or Division II.
The New York State wrestling tournament will take place Feb. 24-25 at the Times Union Center in Albany.
