There finally will be Trevor Bauer sightings again at Fairfield Properties Ballpark.

The former NL Cy Young Award winner went on the injured list on May 17 with back spasms, and now he’s ready to return.

The Ducks announced Wednesday that Bauer will start in their series finale against Lancaster at 1:35 p.m. Sunday in Central Islip.

Bauer has made six starts in this first season with the Ducks, excelling for the most part. The 35-year-old righty, with 10 MLB seasons behind him, is 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA, 56 strikeouts and only seven walks across 37 innings.

His highlight starts were a seven-inning no-hitter at Lancaster on April 26 and a 15-strikeout game on May 12 vs. Gastonia that set a Ducks’ record.

There will also be a Bauer sighting before Friday’s 6:35 p.m. Lancaster game. The Ducks are giving away commemorative 8 1/2-by-11 inch photos of Bauer holding the ball from the final out of his no-no. The first 1,500 fans on hand will receive one.

Bauer will be signing autographs before the game. That will start at 5:40 in the picnic area on the main concourse, down the leftfield line. The gates will open at 5:35.
