Canada's hockey ratings are in, and they're ridonkulous
The numbers are in for Canada for Sunday's gold medal game. As you'd expect, they're huge.
An average of 16.6 million people watched, about half the population, making it the biggest TV audience in the nation's history.
No. 2? Sunday night's Closing Ceremony at 14.3 million.
About 80 percent of Canadians (26.5 million) watched at least part of Sunday's game.
UPDATE: Just got even more stuff in on this.
When Crosby scored, 22 million Canadians were watching - two-thirds of the nation.
Overall, the share for the game - which measures the percentage of TVs in use - was 85!
