Mariano Rivera and Whitey Ford were No. 1 and No. 2. No problem there.
Lefty Gomez was not on the list at all. David Wells and Spud Chandler were.

Speaking of Yankees-related stories in other publications, Forbes pegs the value of the franchise's brand name alone at $328 million of its estimated value of $1.6 billion.
No word from Forbes on the value of the WatchDog brand name. Doesn't matter. I don't own it.
