It took very little time, just a few seconds, for Igor Gracie to take his Strikeforce fight against John Salgado to the ground.

Not surprising since he's a Gracie, and the Gracie family basically invented the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

But it took the young fighter into the second round to get the submission victory Saturday night at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J.

Gracie got top position early in the second round and locked in a choke hold. Laying belly-to-belly on Salgado, Gracie (3-2) smartly got to the side to mount more pressure on the choke and forced Salgado to tap out.
