Bellmore Avenue in Bellmore reopened after early morning water main break

Bellmore Avenue near Sunrise Highway in Bellmore has reopened after a water main break forced the street to close at around 3:45 a.m. Monday, Nassau County police said.
The break disrupted service for around 50 customers in the Bellmore Avenue area, said Pam Bellings, a spokeswoman for Liberty New York Water. Bellings confirmed that as of around 3:45 p.m. Monday, utility service had been restored for all impacted customers and the damaged roadway was temporarily patched. Details regarding additional repairs were not immediately known Monday afternoon.
