Bethenny Frankel: I had miscarriage
Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel ("Real Housewives of New York City," "Bethenny Ever After") revealed Monday that she recently suffered a miscarriage.
"We were pregnant with a second baby, and at eight weeks, I miscarried," Frankel told Savannah Guthrie on NBC's "Today."
"That was a very emotional experience and [I began] thinking about women who can't have their own baby, even the first baby. I'm really lucky," said Frankel, who has a 21-month-old daughter, Bryn.
Do Frankel and her husband, Jason Hoppy, plan to try again? "I'm 41, and I don't know," Frankel said. "It's not really my choice. It's not really my option. The window is closing. I'm not really thinking about it. I don't know what I feel that my options are."
She added, "You go through a roller coaster of emotions about it -- about your age, about being a woman, about can you have another baby, about are you a failure to your partner, about what if my husband married someone younger. I mean, you go through a million different things."
