Fox to move 'Glee' to Wednesdays after Super Bowl
It's a "Glee" "Glee" "Glee" "Glee" world at Fox, where a super-sized version of the freshman hit will follow the Super Bowl in February, the network announced Monday.
Reason: "We're going to use the Super Bowl audience to maneuver 'Glee' into a new time period," said Kevin Reilly, president of entertainment for Fox Broadcasting.
The show will launch on Tuesday nights at 8 this fall, then move to Wednesdays at 9 p.m. in midseason, after the Super Bowl.
In other scheduling developments, Fox executives said "American Idol" performance editions next season will be 90 minutes, while results shows will be 30 minutes.
