The Jets’ talented defensive line suffered a big blow Saturday night.

Quinton Coples suffered a hairline fracture in his ankle and will miss 3-4 weeks, a source confirmed to Newsday.

Though surgery is not needed, Coples is expected to miss the season opener against Darrelle Revis and the Tampa Bay Bucs on Sept. 8.

The second-year defensive end/outside linebacker was injured with about five minutes remaining in the second quarter when he rushed Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne and landed awkwardly after blocking the pass.

Coples limped off the field and took on a seat on the bench, where team doctors checked out his right leg. He initially tried to walk off the injury, but eventually was driven to the locker room.
